This is where you can SEE where the associated Graphics goes.
I am assuming you have created your new buttons by now and are ready to move on. Either that or you are
just curious how this story ends. Either way, read on.
Now is when you start making your first Skin. Go to your Admin Panel and follow these very easy first
steps.
Go to Skins and select Create New Skin
A list appears with what skins are already on your system. Below that is three things to fill out
Name your skin
Add Your Name
Add your Email
Select Create New Skin
Yes, it is that easy. What will happen is that the program will create a new folder in your skins directory
and will copy all the default files into that folder. You just need to replace those files with your
new ones then change the colours and the CSS specifics and your done.
If you kept the original names when you were creating your work this part of the tutorial will be a
breeze for you.
Upload all your new graphics to your new Skin Folder located at iB_html/non-cgi-Skin/Skin-2/images/.
Notice your CSS file and javascripts are there also. Log onto your board and change to your new skin.
If you dont know how to do that you go to your Control Panel, Account Options and in there you
use the pull down menu to move to whatever you named your new skin then select Change my Accout
Options. Now surf throughout your board to see all your new graphics. If there are any problems with
graphics not working use the screen below to find what graphics need working on.Of course, if you
uploaded your graphics and checked them out and found
no problems, this part of the tutorial is not needed and you can use the menu above to move onto your Global colours.
Below is a copy of your Graphics portion of your Administrative Panel. It gives you the location of a graphic and what graphic it is
using to display in that spot. For example.... Properties for Member Pips shows star.gif as the graphic
used for the members pips. Lets say you created a special pip to be used instead (like heart.gif). This is where you would change it.
